Play Dough Recipe

NTNC-4b
Here is the play dough recipe we use at the Center. This is typically for 24 months and up.  Some children have a hard time not eating play dough.  For those, it is possible to wait for them to grow a bit bigger or be near to help them not eat it with an alternative object for mouthing.  I think the cream of tarter works as a natural preservative.
3 cups flour
1 cup salt
3 Tbsp cream of tarter
3 Tbsp oil
2 cups boiling water with food coloring
Mix it all together
